Project 02b: PADI HAUS: The Discovery Centre - Visitor Centre for Jalan Terusan Utama Parit 4, Kampung Sg Hj Dorani

The final project brief requires students to propose a design for a visitor centre at the infinite paddy field site of Jalan Terusan Utama Parit 4, Kampung Sungai Haji Dorani. The site allocated to me was Site B which is situated next to the main road of Parit 4 and opposite to a rice production factory. The design was limited to a built-up area of not more than 450 sq. m. with the need to be inclusive towards all communities, this calls for the requirement of the centre to be universally designed to be able to cater to both special needs and non-special needs individuals.
