Chew Yun Fay - Part 1 architecture student in Taylor's University
About
Hello there! My name is Chew Yun Fay (Daphne), I am 20 years old this year and am currently in my second year in architecture at Taylor's University. If my friends and family were to describe me, they would say I am a rather determined, goal-oriented, and optimistic person; but also sensitive and emotional at times. The decision that leads me to begin the architecture journey stems from my interest in arts & crafts, and my relatives' influence in this field further amplify my passion to learn and contribute to society by shaping society through forms and spaces.
Throughout my time in Taylor's college and university, I have undergone several projects that contributed to expanding my chamber of knowledge towards architectural languages & vocabularies, all of which were used in the application of my design projects such as my second project at Taylor's University which requires us to build a tectonic structure that expresses our personal experience during the pandemic.
"Never stop learning; for when we stop learning, we stop growing." - Loyal 'Jack' Lewman
I look forward to continuing filling my glass with knowledge and learnings from my peers, tutors, & lecturers throughout this journey as I belive there's always 'one more thing' to learn just like the quote mentioned above.
